Grown only in the United States, Scarborough Farms produce is grown according to strict state and federal regulations. Being in the U.S., also means that our salads will arrive a day earlier, ensuring freshness.
We follow good agricultural practices to ensure that everything we grow is not only beautiful and nutritious, but safe to eat, as well.
HACCP — A written Hazard Analysis Critical Control Program is administered by our trained personnel. A private, independent lab monitors our food safety system to ensure adherence to strict standards.
Microbial Testing — Our salads and equipment are tested regularly to ensure a clean, safe product. We use only municipal water that is tested for harmful bacteria and contaminants.
GMP — Our packing room is health services approved. From field to storage, our personnel are trained in sanitation practices with ongoing inspections.
